"I messaged Stephanie in the middle of the night because I was very concerned about Lily's breathing. I let her know that Lily was hacking and threw up numerous times the day before. Stephanie recommended I take her to the vet to get an x-ray to make sure she did not have aspiration pneumonia. I rushed Lily to the emergency vet in the middle of the night and sure enough the x-ray showed pneumonia. The vet gave me oral antibiotics and told me to take Lily to our regular vet in the morning. When the vet opened in the morning, I called and they could not get Lily in until the afternoon. Lily was much worse and I was panicking.
